Before I even knew terms like layout or design, I was fascinated by magazines and fanzines - especially those focused on music. It wasn’t just the content that drew me in, but also the form: the way text, photography, and graphics come together to create a cohesive whole. As a teenager, I tried to create my own fanzine. Today I cringe a little thinking about its imperfections, but the satisfaction of putting it together was very real - and, in many ways, that hasn’t changed. Years later, I found the same satisfaction in translating the language of design into code.
I am interested in social issues and politics. I am a vegetarian and an animal lover (I share my life with two Andalusian Bodeguero dogs: Yoko & Sugus < 3). I am a cyclist and a nature enthusiast. I enjoy traveling outside the city and spending nights surrounded by nature in my small van.
I am musically polyamorous :), my list of favorite musicians is very long and includes: Swans, Sonic Youth, Armia, Crass, Neurosis, Killing Joke, The Cure, New Model Army, Izrael, Vangelis, Depeche Mode, Massive Attack, Godflesh, Discharge, David Bowie, Brian Eno, Brygada Kryzys, Portishead, Dead Can Dance, His Hero Is Gone, Black Uhuru, Public Image Limited, Conflict, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, Siekiera, Cocteau Twins, Joy Division, Fugazi, Bad Brains, Rorschach, Initial State, Damad, Biosphere and many, many others.
I enjoy cinema (Buñuel, Wajda, Visconti, Fellini, Pasolini, the Coen brothers, Lynch, and many others). I also like reading, mainly non-fiction, although I grew up reading authors like Philip K. Dick and Kurt Vonnegut. And, of course, I enjoy watching TV series such as House of Cards, Succession, Fargo, The Sopranos, and Twin Peaks.
